These are, our cards in progress

Grinbin are currently in the progress of mocking up our first batch of 10 cards to be printed. Printed on actual card and actually sent to us in an actual box by actual Royal Mail (probably). We are actually quite excited. World domination edges ever closer.

These are, our sexy numbers

Grinbin is now the proud owner of 50 of the queen’s barcodes, jolly useful for the selling of cards in shops which is, after all, what we’re planning to do.They’re all a rather lovely bunch, but I think 6-10708-12634-8 has to be my personal favourite; the curves on the final 8 just finish it off with a flourish.

This is, our latest quarter

Drink in the left hand, must be me.

Hi all,

We have received the sales details for the latest quarter and the news is that we have made around £24 more than we did in this quarter last year. Hurrah! By my calculations if we carry on increasing our quarterly profits by this much each year by the time we retire, we’ll be able to retire. Nice to have something to look forward to.

This is, our increased ranking

Just a quick note to say that the new Grinbin site has now reached a rank of 3 out of 10 on the Google page ranking system, this is 3 higher than previously. A bit more Search Engine Optimising stuff and one day, if we’re really lucky, someone might find it! Imagine that.

These are, our blogs together

The blog page for the Grinbin Greetings Cards website

Click here for blogs. Nice tasty blogs.

The ever expanding Grinbin website now has a page especially for our blogs. We decided that it would make it easier for you to find them if they were all in one place. Or, indeed, to avoid them. Either way, life improving stuff we feel.

You’ll probably notice that when you click the links on the blog page nothing appears to happen, but that’s where you are wrong. The blog will open as a separate tab, to make things easier if you wish to return after leaving it. What a service we provide, what a service. Must be at least 3 star.

You can reach this page of wonderment via the about us page on the Grinbin site.

These are, some Moonpig requests

We put that smile on their face, probably.

Moonpig.com themselves have requested new material from us, which can only be a good thing. So keep any eye out for our next batch of cards.

While we’re here could I also draw your attention to our Artist, Dave Squires’, Blog. Obviously the artwork is of the highest standard, but it turns out he’s witty too. Don’t you just hate people like that? you can reach his blog at anytime via the link at the bottom of every page of the Grinbin site aswell as on his facebook page. Enjoy.

This is, our brand new website

Grinbin’s marvellous new homepage

Hi all,

Long time no type. Grinbin has just been plodding along, sales are continually improving on Moonpig and five more cards have gone live. But now something quite big is happening; the real Grinbin website, not my badly cobbled together attempt, has been launched, and rather good it looks too. As well as the homepage you would expect we have an about us, a range page and most excitingly a shop. This is as yet not fully functional but it does have a button and you may take that as a guarantee that Cards will be available forthwith.

Furthermore, here at Grinbin we like to have a good old blog every now and again and so we have also included a couple of our comedy blogs on the site. Just another way to while away the wee small hours, aren’t we good to you?

Well, that’s about it for now. Have fun out there and keep having birthdays/anniversaries/valentines days etc, you know you want to.

Grinbin

This is, a little welcome

Grinbin Cards have now been available for over two years on Moonpig, card sales are marching steadily towards the forty thousand mark and sales of mugs and T-shirts are also building up nicely. In the face of such success I decided that the little cardboard blighters deserved a blog of their very own, so here it is.

The dysfunctional brain-baby of a couple of shambolic plonkers, Grinbin started life over ten years ago as a few ideas clumsily scrawled on the backs of napkins and envelopes. Since then, it has ballooned uncontrollably into nothing less than a small limited company complete with its own headed paper, some business cards (with out of date addresses as I have since moved house) and aspirations that are probably well above its station.Unlike most of the turgid dross the greetings card industry churns out, our cards are not a cynical attempt to manipulate identified demographics through the medium of disingenuous sentimentality and fart gags. We’re just four ordinary (ok, maybe ‘ordinary’ is pushing it a bit) blokes who love coming up with surreal and daft ideas for our own, and hopefully others’ amusement.

Here’s some links that could change your life, very slightly:

Grinbin Cards – our website. Cards cannot currently be bought from here but you can have a jolly good ogle then nip to…

Grinbin on Moonpig – to buy some, then go to..

Facebook and tell your chums just how brilliant they are.

Further updates will happen when something worth updating happens. Fair?
